a few weeks ago I had posted a Collings 02H for sale and trade. soon as I saw this appear I contacted the new owner(he had taken this in on trade and had planned to sale it as the guitar he traded for it simply wasn't moving). we made the deal and it arrived.
the Taylor neck fits me extremely well, and I enjoy the feel and tone of most Taylors for fingerstyle play. I enjoy the ease of setup and just how well they are made. there's always good consistency in a couple brands and it brings forth an ease of mind to do blind trades such as this.
This 12 fret was no exception. Extremely well built and the woods used, along with classic appointments, make a very beautiful package.
I did a fret level/recrown(had a few high areas) so I could take advantage of a low action level.
I'm not into bling, don't care for abalone at all, but I do like how this one is put together. Other than the fretboard and bridge, all North American woods.
Huge fan of maple necks on acoustics, and this just pops with the walnut.
